Neem oil also has moisturizing and antibacterial properties that make it effective against acne and dry skin conditions. To explore how neem oil compares with other skincare oils, check out this Skincare Oils Guide for an in-depth look at natural oils and their benefits.

Patch Test: Try a patch test before the application that helps you to make sure that it is not reacting to your skin. Wait for 24 hours to confirm no irritation will occur.

Application Methods

  • For Acne and Pimples: Take a cotton pad then dip it with diluted neem oil onto your affected area. You can apply it 4 to 5 times a day until your acne reduces.
  • For Dry Skin or Eczema: You can gently massage your affected area with diluted neem oil. If you use it in your daily routine it will give you moisturizing skin.
  • For Insect Repellent: You can use it as an insect repellent, too. You should use neem oil (mixed with lotion or oil) on exposed skin before going outdoors.
